SPEAKER; David Koch reviewed the battle of Gettysburg by describing the times before, during and after the event. As the war progressed, the factors most important were morale,
inflation, lack of food and ammunition seemed to be the most destructive elements to the Confederate troops along with an ever increasingly powerful Union Army. The actual battle raged for three days and tactical errors were made by both sides, but Union generals eventually made the best decisions. General Lee, despite his reputation made a final poor decision for the army lacking ammunition and healthy soldiers to attack a fortified hill.
